Once a stagecoach stop. Always a welcome.

Some places make you feel at home before you even step inside.

Built in the 1830s along the historic Kingston-to-York Road, Dowling House has watched generations come and go. Today, its original timber frame, pumpkin-pine floors, and wonderfully imperfect corners still carry that same spirit of welcome.

Set on a hill above the Napanee River Valley and Mohawk Bay, this is a place for slow mornings, long-table dinners, woodstove evenings, and the kind of conversation that doesn’t need a clock.
